I have been given the opportunity to get involved with overseeing the schools finances. As a maths leader in a primary school I take a special interest in helping children master and enjoy this core subject. I have been teaching 13 years and have experience of making decisions on school development and improvement. Having 2 children in the school I feel very privileged to have this chance to help in what ever way I can. I am passionate about creating a positive environment where all children can thrive and achieve.

Ex Officio Foundation

My name is Julie Gibbs and I have lived in Pucklechurch for over 30 years. For much of that time I have attended St Thomas à Becket church. I am also a member of the PCC and am currently training to be the Parish Safeguarding Officer. After the retirement of our vicar, Stuart Young, the PCC did not have a regular contact with the school, so I offered to step up and become a Foundation Governor. My son attended Pucklechurch Primary from 2005 until 2012. During that time, I spent a lot of time at school primarily as joint chair of the PTA and, later, as a governor. I love the atmosphere of the school and am delighted to be given the opportunity to continue being involved in its development.
