Inclusion/SEN
The word ‘inclusion’ is used and this means that all children are entitled to access an effective education whatever their ability, culture or economic background.
We use the term ‘vulnerable group’ in order to specifically track and support different groups of children but as a school we are mindful that all children can be vulnerable at any stage. Therefore our aim is to ensure that all children are progressing academically, socially and emotionally and that they are happy when they come to school every day.
If you have any concerns regarding your child’s progress academically, socially or emotionally, firstly speak to your child’s teacher and if you need to discuss things further do not hesitate in contacting our SENCo so that we can all work together to achieve the very best for your child.

Please take a look at our SEND Policy and our SEND Information Report for more information. You'll also be able to take a look at our Catch-Up Programs that we put in place to help children to close the gaps in our learning and see information about how we support children with dyslexia, specifically.
