Dear parents, carers and visitors,
At Pucklechurch CE VC Primary School, we aim to make learning an adventure and have a strong focus on high academic standards, outdoor learning, inclusion and extra-curricular opportunities.
You only need to walk around our school and spend time with any member of our school team to feel the commitment, passion and interest in learning – which alongside the personal development of each individual means meeting full potential.
Our committed team of staff provide excellent pastoral support with all children valued as individuals. Pupils are encouraged to be active participants in our school community. Everyone’s contribution is recognised and appreciated.
We strive to work closely with parents, many of whom come into school regularly to help in class.
Our core Christian values provide a strong foundation stone for building further success and security for life, through the development of positive behaviours and emotional awareness, key indicators for life-long success. We value and explore faith while welcoming families of all faiths and none. Children at our school make good progress and we are very proud of our latest SIAMs and Ofsted reports that recognise this and praise so many of the aspects of our school. We believe that education is about the entire child, their well being and enrichment as well as their academic achievement.
We strive to offer them life experiences, values and skills that set them up as resilient, life-long learners who question and wonder and we do this by nurturing the uniqueness of every child and responding to their individual needs.
Our school is a happy place, where children feel motivated and enthusiastic about their learning. Everyone at Pucklechurch CE VC Primary is immensely proud of our school, which is caring and has a team of dedicated professionals here to ensure that the children get the most from their education. Our staff support all children to achieve at the highest level they can academically and they have an equal commitment to the children’s emotional and social development.
Browsing our website will give you a feel for what we’re all about, but please get in touch if you’d like to know more or pay us a visit, you’ll be most welcome. I feel privileged to be Pucklechurch CE VC Primary's headteacher. We are very proud of our school – come along and see why.
